Instructions
Steep the Coffee
Weigh 100 grams of coarse-ground coffee into a large jar or pitcher.
Pour in 800 milliliters of cold filtered water.
Stir until all the grounds are wet, with no dry clumps.
Cover and refrigerate for 14 hours, or 12 to 16 hours.
Strain and Serve
Pour the coffee through a fine mesh strainer into a clean bowl.
Strain again through a paper coffee filter for a clear, sediment-free concentrate.
Pour the concentrate into a clean glass jar and refrigerate for up to 7 days.
Mix equal parts concentrate and cold water or milk over ice, and sweeten to taste.
Notes
Use coarse grounds only. Steep in the fridge, not on the counter. Concentrate keeps 7 days; dilute 1:1 before drinking. Freeze leftover cold brew into ice cubes.
